Beyond translating, you can change the visual appearance of your PDF to perfectly match your company's branding. This guide shows you how to adjust fonts, colors, and address layouts.
1. Changing Fonts and Font Sizes
You have granular control over the typography of the document.
Font: In this field, you can define the main font family for the document. Standard PDF fonts like helvetica, arial, and times are supported.
Title Font Size: Sets the size of the main document title (e.g., "CREDIT INVOICE").
Headings Font Size: Controls the size of section titles like "Invoice Details" and "To (Customer):".
Body Font Size: Affects all other text, including the content of the line items table and address blocks.
2. Customizing Table Colors
You can change the colors of the line items table header to match your brand. Colors are defined using RGB values.
Table Header Fill Colour: Sets the background color of the header row. The value should be three numbers separated by commas.
Example: For a blue header, you might use 59, 130, 246.
Table Header Text Colour: Sets the color of the text in the header row.
Example: For white text on a dark header, you would use 255, 255, 255.
3. Adjusting Address Formatting
The Supplier Address Format and Customer Address Format fields give you full control over how addresses are displayed. These fields use placeholders that are automatically replaced with the correct data from Zoho Books.
How it works: You can arrange the placeholders, add commas, line breaks, and other static text as you see fit.
Example Scenario: By default, the city, state, and zip code might be on separate lines. If you want them all on a single line, you can change the format.
Default-like Format:
{name}
{street1}
{city}
{state}
{zip}
{country}
Custom Single-Line Format for City/State/Zip:
{name}
{street1}
{city}, {state} {zip}
{country}
This flexibility allows you to conform to any regional address formatting standards or simply to match the style of your other business documents.
